In times like these

There are these times in our life when, one needs to be a mere spectator and watch one’s life like a play happening on the stage of life.

These are times, when no matter how much we want something, there is little or maybe nothing that we can do about it.The best way then to deal with it is to look at everything from an outsider’s perspective, which besides detaching ourselves from the situation also lends some kind of objectivity it.

It is in these times, that lessons of wisdom are learnt and we can learn analyse, dissect our own behaviour without getting emotional about anything. It also in many cases helps us laugh at the pathetic situations that we land in. Our stupidity and foolishness.

As they say, there is nothing which is larger than life. There is something worth enjoying in every moment and in every phase. ENJOY AS LONG AS IT LASTS!

"Sometimes the battle is to make it a little more personal to you to really get into it, and sometimes the battle is to make it less personal to you so you can get more objectivity. "

...not to mention stepping outside your shoes also brings sanity and balance when you so need it...a moment's insight sometimes becomes life's experiences... and sometimes is the sum of it... :)

Lovemarks, somehow i feel no matter how personal the battle is,one should always step outside...it's helps us judge the situation better.

And "Tasting Music" is my personal favourite too!

very true. have seen this happen quite a few times for me! I guess the best philosophy in such times would be -

what has happened, has happened for the good;
what is happening is happening for the good!!

When we stay detached from the happenings around us and watch our own life from an outsider's view we do not make objective decisions...we just observe.

I used to tell my friends a similar thing about the condition of my life sometimes. I used to tell them that it was like I was on a charriot, and the reins had slipped from my hand...now It left me with no option than to wait and watch where the charriot would take me.

thanks for stopping by my blog. keep coming back.

sujay,

I do not know whether this is right or wrong...I am extremely comfortable with the situation...and somewhere i also numb..things do excite me..but I can easily condition my mind to the fact of something/someone's absence...and move on...:)

As long it suits me..i dont think i gonna change it!

Ah. How true. Seriously. Only fact remains that it never happens with me. Never seem to be able to do it. :|

Its good that you realise the virture of being detached. At times people get the impression that they are in control of situation or they feel that they can make a difference but the truth is that we are all playing our roles, its just that we don't know it.

Rohit:)
Ajit:We can never control any situation. All that we can,is choose either to respond or choose to be indifferent. And being indifferent is also a way of responding...Btw,you are the first one to have understood the essence of this feeling/post...It surely feels nice:)
