The Salt and Pepper of Life
My joys, my griefs, my passions and my sorrows are my own. We all have our own sense of emotionality. The joy of thinking about a novel idea, the sadness of losing a close friend, the richness of a vivid dream, the serenity of a walk through a garden on a spring day, the total absorption of a deep meditative state -- these things and others like them constitute the reality of our experience of consciousness.Regardless of the content of any one of these experiences, no one would doubt their reality. And experience of consciousness -- from the most mundane to the most elevated -- has a certain rythmn and, at the same time, a high degree of privacy, which means that it always exists from a particular point of view. The experience of consciousness is entirely subjective. If the truth be told no one is suited for the practicalities of life;each mind floats in otherworldly dreams, more preoccupied with the potential of the spirit than with everyday stuggles.
I love books, and music, and the most splendid moments of my existence have been the few books I have read in isolation from this world. I treasure every detail of the times I have spent in isolation. As I read I imagine every sentence, every page and every chapter as a mirror of my life, my passions and my afflictions. I take refuge in this extravagant, romantic atmosphere whenever I feel weighed down by the vulgarity of life.
Our moments of highest joy are those we have spent alone(with other people or in solitude). And that is the triumph, tragedy and comedy of our existence. we experience life as a rebel individualist divorced from a lot of stuff happening around us.An in this experience we are constantly evolving.
Our world, our evolution is our perception of the happenings and feelings within and perception is an individual, alone thing.

Nice to know that you already know where your true happiness lies.Often we spend our whole life trying to figure out what is it that we like to do the most???
Ajit...I dont knw whether i knw where my TRUE happiness lies...but i can tell you for sure, that no matter how cliche it may sound but it still all remains just in the mind...and the mind belongs to the individual alone:)
also, have received e mails saying that i am being too objective rather indifferent in my approach....
An individual comprises of both the mind and the heart..ever seen a painter paint with the mind, a singer sing with the mind..ne thing that is passionate stems from the heart and not from the mind..
But look for that passion inside and not in someone else, coz man is capable of loving oneself first, rest all comes later..look for that life and passion within...
Cuz we are born alone and we die alone. You've stated it right. Most of the deepest moments are deepest moments are experienced when you are alone. At times make you wonder whether there is a need for the other. I noticed you are getting deeper day by day :)
Identify with the books and music bit completely.
"Our world, our evolution is our perception of the happenings and feelings within and perception is an individual, alone thing."
Sometimes we're forced to live in a world that mirrors somebody else's twisted perception.
Introspective to boot.
White Magpie:Welcome back...and i love the phunny blog u have started!!
Blue:
..there are weak, testing moments in life..sometimes we rise to them and at others we simply give in...due to various factors affecting us...but if you see life in its full vastness..i think the bottomline is just our perception of it..and if we are forced to see something from some other perception, for the moment we might just give in..but deep inside our perception still remains(which is our gospel truth)...just like you cannot teach someone who is not ready to learn.
It is a nice truth that we are bloody alone, i mean we decide entirely...no one (to remphasize) noone can be us for us.
Personally I feel it is a nice thing though a little hard to accept initially, refusing this truth is such a pain, knowing it and residing in the knowledge is getting a rein!
as inkblot would say, "happiness is a warm gun" or maybe it wasn't inky but Lennon. que sera.
happiness?
hard act to find sometimes.
Well said... we are our truest when we are with ourselves! No pretences and no lies...
Me too a big book/music combo fan!:)
PJ: hard to accept initially n also we need to keep reminding ourselves about the same.
CJ:would rather say that happiness that lasts is difficult, very easy to find momentary hapiness:)
Btw,just saw the Lennon's life story..and really liked it.
Lovemarks:Bingo!!btw, i lost ur email id :(

Wow!! You have packed life in a few paragraphs--and done it very well. We enter alone, we leave alone and everything in the middle is how we perceive it. Thanks for coming by, enjoyed reading this very much!!
Hmmm, I wouldn't entirely agree with your point on evolution. Evolution is a comforting thought, but not necessarily a factual one.
Paut:Thanks!!
FW: Bala, come on..dont tell me the 5 year old bala is as evolved as the 35 year old one now!!!
depends how u view evolution. sure, i have grown older; but evolved??? don't know. personally, i wld have been much happier being a 5 year old :-)
FW: happier as a five year old...hmmm..ignorance is bliss kya bala???Happiness also stems from wisdom not ignorance:)
What did u mean by welcome back?????
Magpie:you vanished frm blogging for a while..that's why!!
How true, how true.
