Of Tea, Bhajias and Pittar Pattar

Overpowering Clouds,Thunderstorm, Splashes of water, Overwhelmed waves cut across the rocks.

Murky roads covered with a spread of Gulmohar Leaves- bright Red, Orange.

Young couples smitten by love sit in cuddly romantic comfort. Unguarded, innocent moments!!!

The world which is otherwise a soot covered portrait springs to life with rainfall, fresh, green, anew….

The sky is clear, clean from the pollution laden air, trees get a good wash and sport a fresh green, happy colour…..

I love rainfalls, as much as I love Christmas, just that rains last longer…a complete monsoon!!!! And then there is the small little pleasure of enjoying an icecream with wet clothes on, the chill outside is doubled with each bite of the ice cream. Bones Shudder, Teeth crackle, Goose pimples layer me.

Taxis splash dirty water, rain drops drip from my eyelashes forming small pearls..which sometimes reveal a rainbow, water from my wet hair drenches my back…I am officially wet…..to each bone…..
******
A hot water bath

Savouring bajjias with Garam Adar chai watching torrential rainfall from my window. Seems like all worries sound meaningless.Small. They get washes by the rain that drenches me, gives a clearer, more open mind, to see things otherwise invisible….

Late at night, reading Shantaram, with the pittar pattar back ground music of raindrops on the balcony floor….

Is there a greater pleasure than this????
